Holidays

Holidays are like a gift from society to take more time off, be lazy, go places, and shoot fireworks like a crazy person. We have a few set days all year, and a few random ones. Officially we take off:

  • New years day
  • Martin Luther King day
  • Memorial Day
  • Independence day
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving & the day after
  • Christmas
  • Your birthday.
  • We also don’t worry about the small things like dentist appointments or doctor visits. They are usually short and infrequent.

Depending on the days of the week each year, we will also take added time off around Christmas and new years. This may be the day before or the day after and simply depends on the week. We will evaluate and plan this generally 2 – 3 months out.

Paid time off is to used for vacation days.  Employees earn 10 days per year and may be rolled over.  PTO is accrued in hours starting with the employees first paycheck.  Employees earn 3.5 hours per check. Your latest pay stub will have a record of current vacation time available as of that check.

To use your paid time off for something planned, like a vacation or day of rest, simply email your team leader and accounting/hr to make sure it’s available and tracked.

Personal time may be accrued and cumulated year to year. If you quit or are terminated AZ state laws do not require that you be paid the personal time earned. IF you quit while in good standing (not in probationary period) and give a minimum 2 weeks notice, you are eligible for cashing out your unused time off. Any other resignation/termination circumstances void any PTO cash out eligibility.

Sick time

If you need a sick day, please reach out to us in any way possible as soon as possible. You will earn 24 hours paid sick time per year.
